Six Feathers Seramas
Below are some photos showing the construction of my new 20'x20' pen.
I ordered some dirt in, to level off the area where my pen would be.
Then I moved the dirt to where I wanted it, and leveled off the area.
A 10'x20' portion of the 20'x20' pen is up and leveled.
View inside the pen, of one of the 4 areas. Each area is 10'x10' and can hold at least a trio of birds, or several chicks.
The completed pen. All that remains is to put netting on the top, and edging around the sides so that the birds are safe from predators.
View inside the completed pen. Half of it has grass that has already come up, the rest has not sprouted yet.
A view inside the completed pen when the grass has fully grown. There are hutches for the birds to go in. Can you see the egg in the hutch?
The entire pen, with the fully grown grass, and netting on the top.
